We create kitchens that put nature first.
Precision-crafted fronts and accessories to fit IKEA kitchen cabinets.
Simple. Powerful. Timeless.
Together, we can make a difference.
"You can really see the craftsmanship and attention to detail. My kitchen has been beautifully transformed" - Katy
Why accept less? From our workshop by the banks of the River Ouse, near Lewes and Brighton, we craft sustainable kitchens inspired by the fields, the hills, forests, and sea. Nature is our moodboard ard and as pioneers in biophilic kitchen design, our kitchens are alive with the textures, earthy tones and atmospheric beauty of the local landscape. Combining simplicity with function and inspired by Japandi design - a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian principles - while remaining rooted in traditional English craftsmanship. Timeless, enduring quality.
“Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.” — Leonard Koren
Why IKEA?
Simplicity and environmental goals.
Kitchens don’t have to be complicated. Choose the simplicity of the IKEA modular system as a base and transform it into a handcrafted bespoke kitchen with our custom doors, drawer fronts, panels, and shelving cut to fit their system perfectly. And IKEA are dedicated to full circularity by 2030.
Our kitchens are chosen by savvy and eco-conscious architects, creatives, chefs and discerning homeowners, in London, Sussex and beyond - those who appreciate quality, value, deep sustainability and artistry in kitchen design.
We’re not just creating kitchens; we’re building a movement. We believe in true sustainability - kitchens that endure. Proudly backed by our Lifetime Guarantee and Repair Policy, we turn our values into action.
We reject the status quo of over production and built in obsolescence. We don’t use MDF and synthetic finishes. Instead, we commit to:
Premium FSC-certified Native Wood & Bamboo: Native longlasting woods sourced locally to enhance the beauty of your home while staying true to the earth - not just on the surface, but all the way through. We never use MDF.
Plant-based and Natural Finishes: Breathable, biodegradeable, low or zero VOC healthy surfaces that evolve gracefully, easy to maintain, repairable, and free from plastic-filled lacquers.
Minimise Waste: Every cut is intentional, seeking a harmonious woodgrain flow while reducing waste at every step, repurposing or donating offcuts to aim for zero waste.
Simple, Timeless Design: Kitchens made with the utmost care, built to endure in both style and durability.
Circular Approach: a focus on the 5 Rs - reducing, reusing, refurbishing, repairing and recycling.
Net Zero approach: Powered by renewable energy and use of all wood/bamboo materials and plant based finishes dramatically reduces carbon footprint to carbon neutral or even carbon negative.
Local Production: We design and make on the same rural site close to our homes in Sussex, supplying to UK clients dramatically reducing our carbon footprint.
Small Batch Production: We consciously limit the number of kitchens we make per year avoiding the problems of overproduction
With a small and female led team, we value slow making and meaningful connections with our clients.
