“These people genuinely care about mutually rewarding relationships with customers and - if it doesn’t sound too grandiose - about adding more beauty to the world.“ Ana
Our customers include homeowners, interior designers and architects looking for clean-lined, high quality and truly sustainable designs that don’t cost the earth.
With over 30 years experience as a bespoke joiner/artist, Ian and Rachel (a designer and former lawyer) had the idea for Custom Fronts in 2016. Already shipping sustainable hand made, birch plywood furniture internationally, we were disappointed in the low quality and unsustainability in the kitchen world, even in the high end sector. Determined to be the change we wanted to see, we made simple premium plywood fronts to fit IKEA cabinets, and Custom Fronts was born. We have since added CO2 negative bamboo and eco colours to our range. Soon joined by others we are an intentionally small, local and boutique atelier designing and making from our workshop on the banks of the River Ouse near Lewes serving London, Sussex and surrounds.
