The greenest kitchen is the one you never want to replace. And beauty is what makes this possible. The type of beauty that is not just mere cosmetics but deeply felt and connects us to the natural world. In a throwaway world, we create kitchens people want to keep: emotionally resonant, materially respectful, and made to last.
Beauty lifts us out of ourselves. It connects, calms, and inspires us to live better.

A framework for designing kitchens people want to keep.

B  Begin with Nature
Nature is our collaborator. We ask: what might the land want to give? We design with quickly regenerative materials as the basis of all our fronts - bamboo and birch plywood -  and shape them with respect. We let the grain and the beautiful edges show. This is where beauty begins.

E  Ensure it Lasts
Longevity is radical. We craft kitchens that last -  in material, mood, and meaning. Timeless forms. Nothing trendy or throwaway. If it’s going to stay out of landfill, it needs to feel right, year after year.

A  Allow for Emotion
Beauty is a feeling. A curve that fits the hand. A surface that asks to be touched. We design for that quiet sense of rightness - where a space feels good before you can say why. That’s emotional sustainability.

U  Use What’s There
We build on what already exists to make it simple. Our fronts fit existing and easily obtainable kitchen cabinet systems, in particular IKEA, which is modular and adaptable. The greenest kitchens are those which already exist, so we've future proofed our fronts against disposal by making them easily maintainable and repairable. Better for the planet. Easier for people.

T  Think in Circles
What happens when it’s no longer needed? We design with the end in mind: while easy to remain and repair, they are also easy to dismount, reuse or recycle. Nothing over-complicated. Just materials you'd want to pass on.

Y  Yield to Simplicity
Simplicity is a strength. We keep it pared back, architectural and functional. We let the materials speak. Because when something works beautifully, it doesn’t need to shout.
