Climate Positivity Approach
Our founding mission was always a committment to do good rather than harm. We’ve had support from Clean Growth UK to measure our carbon footprint because understanding impact is interesting in understanding our journey to regeneration.
It goes without saying we use FSC certified wood and bamboo but we go further, choosing materials that restore more than they consume, like Forbo colour and bamboo. Nordic Birch Plywood, from rapidly regenerating birch trees, is stronger and less wasteful than solid wood. We use all wood/bamboo for the door cores, and they store carbon - around one tonne per cubic metre of wood. Our woods are all native species - no American oaks or exotic woods like Sapele - and sourced locally - reducing their carbon footprint.

Our Studio
"Waste not, want not" just comes naturally to us - it's how we were raised. It's simple.
Our Sussex studio runs on 100% renewable electricity. We are on a zero waste journey. We use high tech CNC cutting machines programmed to minimise waste, repurpose offcuts, re-use cabinets and fronts for displays/photoshoots/product development, donate spare material....even our sawdust is under review. We use recycled packaging and encourage sample re-use with a refund offer.
The team all live nearby (one even onsite) and our rural workshop community (right by a nature reserve) has bird and bat boxes as well as wildflower areas to encourage pollinators and local biodiversity

Longevity is Radical
Remember when things were built to last? We've brought it back. Regeneration starts with what we make - and how long it lasts. The greenest kitchen is the one you don't replace - and lasts so you don't have to.
We avoid fast trends, MDF, lacquers, and disposable design. Our kitchens are made from the highest quality materials we can source, finished with healthy oils which don't have athe same toxic microplastics of other finishes, are easily repaired, maintained and kept - with a repair service and lifetime guarantee to prove it.
Designed to make you feel good, so it's easy for you to "do good" and keep them for a lifetime. Tactile surfaces, materials with a sense of place, and soothing finishes support sensory needs and make everyday life feel more grounded.
Regeneration is a journey. And we have plans for the next year to go further. We’re building every kitchen to walk that path.
